In Spain, the Carnival is a very typical festival.

In my country we celebrate Carnival.

This year I dressed up as a musketeer/ Cinderella / a pirate/ a Minion /as a Roman person.

I wore a colourful 1960's-style dress and a flowers headband.

This year I dressed with a beautiful fancy dress.

We wear fancy dress.

We wear funny masks.

We eat special food called: “torrijas” French toast and “orejuelas” flaky pastry.

There is always music and  parades with some floats!

The costumes  are always very colourful.

We love dancing.

I play with my friends.

We enjoy being together.

We celebrate parties and costume contest and the winner is the best fancy dress.

We have two days off school.

We have Carnival holidays.
